Now I can’t help but profile random strangers when they come up to my cash register at work. I originally thought it was a paranormal thing so I’m kinda sad there, BUT my knowledge and understanding in the fields of profiling, unsubs and crime scenes has skyrocketed to a degree of paranoia. The Naturals follows main character Cassie, who is a natural at picking apart people’s lives, desires, and needs who gets recruited by the FBI to solve cold cases until a murder spree starts to make her look into the killer of her own mother. I love Criminal Minds and House and NCIS, and The Naturals was those shows all wrapped together with police tape and served in YA format. ![]() However, I had to read this for one of my book clubs and the book picked me up and slapped me around until I loved it. ![]() I don’t know why, it was just the vibe I had from the beginning.
